Vermont Interagency Coordinating Council (VICC)

Welcome Families and Professionals

"We are the Vermont Interagency Coordinating Council. We believe and advocate that all children reach their developmental potential. We advise and assist Children's Integrated Services. When children and families thrive, Vermont thrives"

Parents and professionals are brought together through Vermont's Interagency Coordinating Council (VICC). Parents provide a voice to the council based on their experience receiving services for their child's developmental delay or risk for delay, ages birth to five.  The VICC also allows professionals and other community members an opportunity to particpate through program planning, policy development, and interagency coordination.

Your experiences are important, and we would like to hear from you. Parents know their children best, and want the best for their children.  We invite and encourage you to join us on the VICC. Your input will help to identify areas to improve Children's Integrated Services (CIS), and you can become part of the solution that will help all children with special needs and their families achieve their goals.

The VICC is a free meeting open to the public and provides opportunities for public comment when visitors can address the council about any relevant topic or concern.  Meetings are held bi-monthly throughout the state in various locations. If you are interested in joining these meetings, please click here for further details.
